Bet $10, if he calls either check / fold the river, check / call small bet the river, or throw out a blocking bet on the river.

I only had $12 in front of me at the turn.

Push or fold. It's a coinflip really.

I pushed. He turned over A4o for the flopped gutshot and the turned TPNK.

In hindsight I think a check call would have been better than a push as at least I would gain when he bluffs.

Also the likelyhood of being drawn out on the river if I am not already behind is small so giving a free card in this spot is not a disaster.

Agreed?

Yes, that's probably a better line to take.

Would you be able to call two value bets though with second pair?

If he keeps playing Axo and chases you'll get your money back sooner or later.

With only $12 in front and seeing this guy play I will go to the felt.

Hes still in the seat to my left. I have $55 and he has $95.

Its late in the UK and I'm only staying up to bust him /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If your read was he played poor hands like Ax , you had to push or bet more agressive with your strong hands imho.

And when you catch your monster on the flop try to trap him. Good luck

preflop raise to 5 or 6, push an undercard flop.
