How difficult are the first few steps? Are these worth playing? Any tips or strategy?

They are very simple the 1st two.

Is there any type of strategy for these types of tournaments? I wouldn't think a normal SNG strategy would work as well, since the top spots get the same prize, so it is better to just barely place than be aggressive on the bubble and bust out. Am I wrong in thinking this?
