I have A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif8 /images/graemlins/club.gif and openraise in the CO, i only have a read on the button so far, and he folded.
SB calls, BB folds.

Flop 4 /images/graemlins/club.gif7 /images/graemlins/club.gif9 /images/graemlins/club.gif

he bets I call

Turn 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

he fastbets I call

River Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif

he fastbets I call

looks good man. i am not sure what the cat could be betting, but once you pair the 8 the river call seems rather easy.

Any reason to not raise the turn? Seems very likely that you're ahead, and if he's betting on a club draw you might as well make him pay.

only reason i don't like raising the turn is that since I have no read, he could be a lag and 3bet with marginal highcard/single club holdings, and then wtf do I do to a 3bet? I don't really like folding because I have an pair and a club draw that could be good

Also, if he has highcards he may fold/not bluff the river
