It's better to spend 7 on a raise here, than 25 calling down his AK.

I'm sorry, I meant preflop.

AJ is always tough for me to play, but in a 6-handed ring game, I think a raise to about $4.00 might be just right. By his minimum raise, I do not think that he had Ak or AQ. I put him on either 2 pair, or trips.

Did you have any information on the villian. He might also have QQ or KK and just refuses to let them go. Tough play but these players are so wild in these PP ring games, that I think a push is not the worse play.

I meant preflop. I'm inclined to just call a raise out of position with AJ though. (SB or BB). But first in, RAISE IT UP!

You realize you can edit your post instead of creating a new one....

I vary when I do and don't. I am confident that I can read when the player has Ax and when that hand turns to aces up. I find limping with this hand to be very profitable for me as I expect that AK or AQ will raise and I will at least know where I stand. I raise with it occasionally to isolate or when a few limpers have come in and I don't want to play this hand in a multiway pot (for obvious reasons).

Well, you were telling him to edit his post instead of adding a post. If you realized you wanted to tell him somthing else that quickly, you too can edit your post and include all the info in the same post. I just got a chuckle out of it.
