Sup Bros,

so while most of my online playing is limit, most of my live playing is NL. all the players in this home game are either loose passive or weak tight, excpet for this guy who is loose preflop, aggressive postflop, and reads people pretty well.

The blinds are .25/.50, 10 handed game. I have about $60, villain about $40.

Hero is UTG+2 with K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif K /images/graemlins/heart.gif

2 calls, Hero raises to $3, 5 folds, SB calls, BB folds, limpers fold.

Flop (2 players) $8.50 in the pot: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif J /images/graemlins/heart.gif
SB checks, Hero bets $6, SB calls.

Turn (2 players) $22.5 in the pot: 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB checks, Hero checks. <----- questionable

River (2 players) $22.5 in the pot: Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB checks, Hero bets $6.

How'd I do?

Were you hoping to induce a river bluff with your turn check, if so I like it, but this is a player dependant play. Otherwise bet approx 3/4 pot on turn.

bigger river bet? Pot is $22...I think a $10 bet gets called possibly here, maybe $12.

the turn check and the size of the river value bet were my main contentions:

-should I give a free card here on the turn? or rather, is it a huge mistake?
-given that I'm checked to on the river, how much can I get away with betting here? (I'm reasonably certain the hand is mine, I'm just trying to find an amount he'd call)
