I'd put him on the flush draw, perhaps with a larger flop bet i could have avoided this, but with my position i felt it risky to bet too much into the pot incase someone had hit a 5?

I think we need separate forum called "1-Table Tournments: Misplaying JJ".

The min-raise pre-flop was awful. Most of these players won't fold to this weak bet and now you've built a big pot, out of position against several opponents.

Raise to 100 or 120. You need to thin the field and get hands like KQ to fold. If re-raised big, you can probably throw your hand away.

Your bet on the flop was fine. I don't mind the smallish bet on the turn either, but you must fold when check raised here.

At least you folded on the river.

Dont know about the 10s, but at the 50s I'm limping this JJ UTG. I doubt it's too far wrong at the 10s.

I agree with your analysis of the flop bet and turn fold.

Agree with Phil completely.

Preflop: Raise to at least 90-120

Flop: Fine

Turn: Fold to checkraise

Also, do you have any reads on monster? He seems to have already built up a nice stack at only level 2. If you have been watching the game, how did he win it? Did he win with a good hand (AK-AJ, TT+) or did he win it with schwag (36o-T5o)? Does he call too much preflop? Is this player the type to play random 5x? Paying attn to this kind of stuff will help in situations such as on turn when you were checkraised.

This early in this position I would limp with JJ.
As the others pretty much said, Villian's min-raise on the turn was telling you JJ is no good.
If you really had him on a flush draw you should have bet the turn a little harder. You would have been giving him pretty much exactly pot odds to call and even better with any implied odds.
Of course a likely flush draw would include the Ad, in which case you were toast.
