I am trying to figure out what the table stats mean. For example, the BB/100 stat is sometime a large negative number say -16. This can happen when I am winning at a table. Does anyone know what this stat meas?

The stats for you in GT+ are your stats over all the games in the open PokerTracker database. So if you have lost 16BB/100 hands over your entire pokertracker database, that is what is displayed, not your current game statistics.

I don't think this is correct because over 40000 hands i have a +3/100.

It is the weighted average of all the players at the table whose stats are being shown. It is weighted based on hands played.
