Just wondering if anyone is playing in this event. Its a $225 buy in, they are expecting about 400+ players. I won a satellite into it. Just wondering if anyone else will be there.

I was thinking about playing in this tourney but I'd have to drive up on Sunday.

I don't know much about Senaca Hillside, what is the place like? How many tables?

Can anybody compare it to Senaca Niagara?

Seneca Allegany isn't a bad place but is very very rarely full. 16 tables, usually spread 2/4 and 3/6 limit and 1/2 (100max) and 5/5 (500max) NL games. I've only seen all 16 tables in action once, though, and usually only 4-8 tables are going at any one time.

Not so sure about this tournament--they claim to be expecting 400 entrants, and they've been running those $25 one-table satellites to pay your entry, but I haven't seen THAT many of those satellites running, and I don't think people will be chomping at the bit to pay $225 on the day of the event. I'll be shocked if they pull 250 entrants myself.

I like Niagara better as a cardroom--better (more knowledgeable) dealers, though Allegany's are better looking. Players are generally better at Niagara.

Not to hijack, but what are the age limits at these 2 cardrooms?

Its 21 because they sereve Liquor there. I accually am looking forward to the tournament because of the expected action afterward. I play there about once a week and there has been about 3-5 satellites each time. ON thursdays when they have the WSOP Super Satellites there would be more. I hope the turn out is big. The action afterward is what I'm looking forward to.
