did i show too much weakness on the turn? i hoped on the river bet that he thought i was angling for a check-raise but missed. probably should have called w/ the pot odds. didnt really think he had the stones to bluff reraise here though.

is this too risky? gotta admit i would have withered under scrutiny at a live game. felt right though. my play indicated possible flush draw.

kurto was at this table incidently (cat avatar?). any thoughts kurto? probably dont remember since we didnt showdown.

Hand 1: After he calls the flop, I check/fold the turn and river. Anything that he would call you with on the flop beats you since the only probable draw got there.

Hand 2: You're playing for set value with 44. Check/fold the flop. Even the 1/3 pot bet could be a total bluff, I don't think that you'd be ahead often enough for this to be profitable (unless you think you can stack him if a 4 hits, but that seems doubtful).

i feel like a lot of folks call a good flop bet and fold when you bet out again on the turn. havent figured out why. i always think they hope the flush hits or an A or they hit a 2nd pair.

check/folding the turn on hand 2 seems a bit to conservative. particularly if you show a pattern of doing that to overcards or an ugly board. may be the correct play though. probably dont have to bluff much at these levels to be successful.

Hey, Maldini.

Hand 1- I believe the guy. If he doesn't have flush, I suspect he at least has a King.

Hand 2- I don't remember the hand. If I folded out, I may have been watching another table.

But I think you made a great bluff. It would be easier to comment based on the player. But I think his flop bet definitely showed weakness. You actually legitimately may have had the best hand. I think the other guy clearly had an AJ or AQ and completely missed the flop.
