How did the internet freerolers do in WSOP Main Ev

I'd be curious to see a complete list of sponsored WSOP main event seats and how the players did?


Poker Pages sponsored seats, as did Paradise and Ultimate Bet. Who else and how did the players playing them do? Anyone have all the info?

The two seats sponsored by PokerStars didn't fair too well. "Donald" was eliminated on the first day and "Slimmouse" was eliminated early on day two. This was Slimmouse's second consecutive year earning a seat in the wsop main event, after winning the poker pages promotion last year.

Well...one Pokerstars recipient took SECOND at the WSOP. A far cry from fairing NOT TOO WELL

There's a difference between playing at pokerstars and winning a wsop seat from pokerstars.

Correct - Julian played at PokerStars (including the WSOP events), but got into the WSOP by winning a $225 satellite at Binion's.


Donald was eliminated late in the first day. He was unfortunate enough to draw a very tough table that included, among others, Doyle Brunson.


Slimmouse was short on chips midway through day 2 - never really got any hands - and finally took his stand in late position with 77. Unfortunately, he ran headlong into AA.
