Sorry for the multihand post, but this is just getting out of hand... my BR has dropped under 600 BB at 5/10 6 max for the first time in 3-1/2 months.

-----------
Hand 1
BB's 5th hand at the table.

Hand 5
CO is a looney LAG, Button is a somewhat tight calling station, probably aware that CO is nuts.

Hand 1- that river call is horrible

Hand 2- if you want to 3-bet isolate a lag with a medium pair form the sb, you have to have a plan for how to play with overcards on the board, cause they will fall. I'd probably bet, unless I felt he would do it for me and was also capable of bluff rasing (both seem quite probable).

Hand 3- Don't raise the turn v. a loose passive.

Hand 4- I like raising the turn for a free showdown and folding to a 3-bet. Good flop check.

Hand 5- bet the turn and hope CO raises to confornt button with 2. You can't fear the COs flop cap if he is looney. If you played the turn correctly you have to fold to that river bet IMO, and probably should fold the river anyway as I can;t see you inducing a bluff mistaken value bet.

Hand 6- I don't think you just knew, I just think you played the river not so greatly cause you are running poorly.

I agree with J.R. except I've started giving up hand 1 type hands after the turn c/r. Almost everytime this happens, he's got the trips and I you're just paying him off just to have to fold the river anyway.

Otherwise I pretty much agree with J.R.

you're right, for some reason I missed the two Aces on the flop and though he had T and perhaps Q outs as well as the gutshot.

1. Fold, I know it sucks but the pot is small and you have no read.

2. Even against a LAG I dont like 3betting 66 out of position. I'd check/call most of the way because I dont want to be raised on the turn.

3. I'd call the river and get shown a J or a flush.

4. A7o from MP yuck, CO yes but I dont like this from MP.

5. I bet the turn, call down if raised.

MP and CO are the same position 5-handed.

Hand 1: Villian had A8o, terrible calldown, MHING.

Hand 2: Hero check-called the rest of the way and lost to A2s. MHING.

Hand 3: BB had (get this) 53o and MHIG.

Hand 4: SB rivered a straight with KJo, MHING.

Hand 5: CO raised preflop with 65o and flopped the straight, Button called 2 cold preflop and hung around with QJo, rivering the nuts. I'm still not exactly sure where I should've let go of this one.
