Didn't have much of a read on villain, just sat down, hadn't played with him before.

I wouldn't call the min raise. Reraise or fold.

Can I get some reasoning? Reraising certainly doesn't fold anything out when I'm behind (well maybe AA), and I think gives the opponent a better chance to get away from AK or a lower PP than a call does. If his reraise was about $10 bigger I'd agree with you, but in the hand it felt like either a probe that he wanted an escape from if it went bad, or something powerful, a ten being the obvious example.

I would probably fold that flop barring a read. If I was going to play, it would be because my opponent is a maniac. Since maniacs can have anything I would want to protect my hand from whatever he could have.

I agree that folding might well be the best option. It was the reraising part of your answer that puzzled me.

if you think AK is possible within his range of hands then why do you call the turn?

I don't like it in retrospect. I had him to firmly pinned on a PP. I got 3.5-1 for my money, but that's probably not enough.
