5 players left and blinds = 100/200.

utg=2k chips
mp=2k
button=1k (villian)
sb=3k
bb=2k (HERO)

lets say shortstack isn't desparate yet. (desparate = 3bb left)

he has 5bb left and on the button. it's checked to him, and he pushes. he only has 1/2 your stack. if you put him on top 40% of hands, you can only call with KTs+/KJo+. kts or kjo = ~52% chance of winning vs top40%.

or even if i thought he's pushing with any 2, I wouldn't call unless I had top 25%.

am i too tight to need at least top 25% to call a short stack's all-in if you think he's trying to steal? what does the "book" say?
