My hot streak from 2/4 carried forward to 3/6. I am well ahead of pace. I don't know if I've ever run so hot for a 3-week stretch. Hopefully, some of it has to do with me playing decent poker.

Beginners, don't be illusioned by my win rates so far. They aren't sustainable.

Experienced players, please remind me that a 200BB+ downswing is just around the corner.

Here are some overall stats for 3/6:

PFR: 7.58 (not including my stats)

Overall, there are a lot of good multitablers at 3/6. Table selection is vital and I found myself switching tables when the VPIP got below 27% or so. Still, there are plenty of bad players that can be exploited. Many are the typical Party calling stations and LAGS. But, there are plenty of weak-tighties that can add dollars to your bottom line, as well.

Yes, I ran pretty well during these hands. However, I made it a goal to work on my blind play at this level. At 3/6 there seems to be a lot of stealing/protecting that you need to do. So, I loosened up in the BB. And, I ramped up my stealing aggression. It paid off. I found with good seat selection I could blatently steal from weak-tight players. Also, when protecting I was able to run weak-tight players off their hands by checkraising flops and turns. Against laggier players, I just played passively when I connected with flops and let them do the betting. If I improved to 2-pair or better I would get aggressive. Also, with really good hands against LAGs I would check-call the flop, then lead the turn and 3-bet when given the opportunity, which was often. This worked like a charm.

Anyway, I'm off to 5/10 6-max where I have about 26k hands of experience. This will be the toughest test and I'll have to be careful and adjust my play to the laggier shorthanded style of the higher limits. I'm glad I've built a nice cushion for the inevitable downswing.

Good luck! If that rush stops, 5/10 6 max is going to rape you. . .your W$WSF is unbelievably high.

No question. Like I said, I was running very well.

After 36k hands at 3/6 here are some stats:

W$WSF: 34.92
WSD: 33.93
W$SD: 54.52

These are probably pretty close to normal for a decent 3/6 player, no?

A 200 BB downswing at 5/10 is going to be pretty ugly. Best of good runs to you.
