View Full Version : 50+5 bubble: Why did I call an all-in w/KQs when I usually don't?

all players had ~2500 chips. blinds were 150/300.

Usually, I do not call all-ins with drawing hands (even with AKs) from players who have same/larger stacks than me unless i'm desparate. and i do not consider 2500 chips as desparate.

anyway, sb has been stealing my blinds all nite long. i never had the cards to fight back till now.

i got KQs. i've gotten it in my mind that if he raises, i'm re-raising all-in to make him think twice about stealing in the future.

well, this time he went all-in instead. stupid me, i was so set to challenge him that i called. he had 88, and i didn't improve and got eliminated.

I blame it on being on tilt. I was just a little peeved that he's been constantly stealing from me, but yet never having the cards to fight back till now. and was so eager to fight back that it impaired my judgement.

I'm trying to fix this leak. can you think of another explanation of why i called?
