Barret Oliver is the actor who played DARYL and he also was the kid reading the book in The Neverending Story.

Ironically, I stumbled upon it just a few days ago on some random movie channel. Still found it entertaining enough to watch from about 2/3 of the way through to the end. Then again, there's absolutely nothing on TV during the day. Yeah... wow. I thought eveyrone's seen this movie.

Also, I never noticed how much Atreyu looks like a freakin chick.

So, I was wondering why the hell the title for Neverending Story is in German. Then I see the director was Wulfgang Petersen. Oh. So I click on his link and see that it's been announced that he will be directing Ender's Game. I love that series. Funny, also cuz Ender's Game reminded me a little of D.A.R.Y.L..

I just imdb's jonathan brandis. I whoa'ed at the suicide as well. What a nice dramataic ending for a child actor. He was the kid that hung out with that smart dolphin in Seaquest. That was a good show, it was like a cross between Star Trek and Baywatch (two series that sucked).
