EARLY in the tournament. No reads and a flop easily manipulated by idiots involved in the hand. I raised preflop....tell me if I make a good call here, I was hoping no AK or set on the flop.

You made a bad call.

You also made a bad preflop raise. Too early and too full a table to be getting fancy with KQo in MP, especially with an EP limper.

I don't like it.

At worst, you are WAY behind. At reasonable best (vs nut flush draw), you are ~55% to win the hand. Yeah there are dead chips, but you didn't know that would happen. I say make a tough laydown.

You gotta fix that.

OK, criticism aside for the PFR...pretend it's K[d]Q[d] --

I guess you are agreeing with me in saying that someone has slowplayed an AKo/AKs or AA on me -- or I am devastatedly behind to a set?

This early in the tournament I try to bust out draw-psychos. Villain shows down J-7c. Turns out the TEN on the turn gave him a little over 30% twice

Okay. I'm pretending...

I don't like the raise preflop.

Then the PFR is even worse. Not only can AQ bust you out in level 1, but a weak suited ace can bust you too.

I promise this is more important than what to do later in the hand. It doesn't matter how nice your Boom Boom Room is if the first rain of the season will wash your home away.

Then it was 6[c]...whatever. I got outdrawn by a flush draw and undercards.

Raise and a min reraise... your hand is no good here.
