Ok Ok .... HMM Where do I start. Ok I know where now, here goes.

First and foremost I would like to state that I am not an employee, family member, cousin or great relative of Americas Card Room or CRIS.

I know that their is a lot of talk going on about Acr and their hand requirements/deposit for promo bucks, I hope to clear that up in this message. Acr is one of the most exciting and fair sites that I have played on in quite some time. They have great bonuses, awesome support, and very very fast cash outs. Their polocies are fair and to the point and they are clearly listed on their website. A lot of this confusion would be solved if you guys just read their terms on the promo bucks. ALL TERMS ARE CLEARLY STATED!

In my opinion Acr is destined to become the premier poker site on the net. Just because they dont have 1000 players doesnt mean that its not a good site. They have fun chat you get to know people and you have a good time playing. Even when I lost I was always having fun. You guys just have to give ACR a try. With their promo tourneys you really have nothing to lose. One of the best aspects of ACR is their support. Just give them a call they are the most friendly and caring people you will ever come across in the poker world bar none.

In conclusion Acr will be upgrading their software soon adding many new features such as pot limit, no limit and multi table tournaments. Right now all of their tourneys have a zero buy in which is unheard of. You guys truly have nothing to lose so give it a try youll be glad you did!

I haven't posted about my experience at ACR b/c I'd rather 2+2ers stay away from the site /images/wink.gif . However, I just got off the phone with Torstyn, the GM, b/c I was having a problem with the delayed withdrawals. We had emailed back and forth about the problem and it was apparent to me that I needed to call to resolve the issue. So I did--and the problem is resolved.

All poker sites should have customer support phone numbers. All should have promotions with free money. All should have pleasing software. ACR definitely meets the first two sentences of this paragraph, and they state that they are working diligently to improve the software.

Just my several cents.

Well just to be ornery I think it does matter if Josh is a prop as he would have a direct financial interest in the sucess or failure of the site, albeit not an interest with a lot of risk involved.

I am also curious as to how you know Josh is or isn't a prop?

I've had an account at ACR since November 2001 and my opinoin is that the site is ok. ACR doesn't stink, but neither is it the greatest thing since free porno. Their customer support is generally friendly and available if not always able to solve problems at the site. My chat was recently discontinued, for example, and no one in customer service can tell me why it happened or help me get it back. I've reported several bugs in their tourney software that still apparently haven't been fixed. Cashouts to paypal used to be (6 months or so ago) extremely fast, often same day, whereas now they typically take 3-4 days or more. The games are pretty soft but there aren't that many of them going typically. Usually one or two holdem tables usually at $.5/1, $2/4, or $4/8 and one $2/4 omaha/8 table plus a few freeroll tourneys.

ACR has lots of relatively small amount promos going but they are very difficult to cashout due to their strict definition of a raked hand (you must see the flop AND the hand must be raked AND it must be in a qualifying game for it to count as a "raked" hand).

Overall, I give it a B-.

I think they are trying real hard to whatever it takes to make poeple happy. The promo's are great. who cares about the number of hands you have to play before cashing out. If you play there on a regular basis it doesnt matter.

No I am not a prop. LLama knows this because we play frequently together at the lower limits (.50/1.00) To be a prop at acr you have to play 2/4 and above so no im not a prop. But good quetion though as it would have some bearing if indeed I was.

I like the site too...as I said before my only problem is the lack of games, but hopefully that will change. Tournies (multi table) and no-limit/pot-limit are coming soon too.
