View Full Version : $10+1 SNG's @ Party - tight as ever?

I play quite a few SNG's, mostly 10 & 20 but in the last month it seems like they have tightened up like crazy. Just finished playing one, nobody out until level 4, and 5 people left at level 7. Seems to me to be getting more competitive, but that could just be me - i remember the good ol days of 4 people left by the end of level 2. Anyone else notice party SNG's getting tighter?

I just played a $50 with 5 people left at the start of level 2 and 4 at level 3 so my educated guess would be 'hell no'.

Yawn, the biweekly "are the Party games getting tougher?" post. No.

I noticed the same thing, my cash cow is gone. My advice is play the 20's they are looser, a bit more agressive. Or better yet try the steps...fishy as hell til step 4.

I've only been playing at party for about a month, and I havn't noticed them changing much in that time. There are some that are really tight and some that are really loose and some inbetween. I'd say more tight games than loose though.

It is my belief that they are perhaps harder than they once were, and/or you/I/we have unrealisic expectations after hearing everybody say how easy they are.

This is terrible advice. The $20s are harder, not easier.

Depends on how you play homey. I found over my last 1,000 games at both levels that they are on average: a)looser b) more aggressive. These are the type of games I prefer maybe not yourself...
I never said they were easier, just looser and more aggressive, witch might be a game the orignal poster might like to try if he is struggling with the 10's.
