I have been using the talking poker timer from Pokertimer.com for my home tourneys but found one that i think is better, The Tournament Director. What I want to know is if anyone knows if I can get the Tourney Dir. to talk like the Online version of pokertimer.com. The Poker Dir. has a place to change the warning sounds for its program but I want it to say something like "new level or blinds up" any suggestions?

thanks,
Chris

this is my first time to try and put a link in a post, so try this:

try this (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=home&Number=1123985&Forum= )

if it doesnt work, then search under the USERNAME: "mojo tooth", and then
scroll back in his posts, to one around 10/06/04 with "pokerclock" as the subject. There are some good hints and resoources on adding voices to TD.

Hope this helps.

would anyone mind telling me how folks get ridiculously long links like the one above reduced to nice little "click here" in hypertext?
thanks,

doc, you sure mangled your first attempt at URL posting. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here you go. Go here and like doc said, look for posts by Mojo near the bottom. (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=home&Number=1123985) I use TD with custom sounds and it's quite a crowd pleaser.

Is there a new link for TD, I can't get to http://www.thetournamentdirector.net.

I've written my own tournamant program and am looking for features to add. If anyone is interested, they can check out the app. I wrote it in c# so there is only one file and there is no installation process (of course you have to download the .net framework from microshaft).
