Phone call from Multi Poker...Is this normal for new sign ups?

So I just signed up for multipoker a couple days ago and today I received a phone call with them wanting to confirm all my personal details - name, phone number, address, email.

Just curious if most people get this? I've signed up at all the other skins and never had them do this so it go my curiousity up. I'm sure it's all on the up and up but just to make sure.

I got this same phone call, they wanted to verify a few bits of information.
Said they do it for all new sign ups.

The funny thing was the last bit of information they wanted to verify was the date of my first deposit.
The reason i found this funny is because they called the day after I withdrew the money,but never mentioned the withdrawal, just the deposit.
