Say you are worried about overcards and you get a flop like this with the straight draw, would it be right to take a free card sometimes?

ill bet at it about 75 % of the time....really depends on the opponent. I think u played it ok here. He has you beat, so you got off ok.

Very excessive to win an extra 6 bucks. I'd fold because you should be able to catch him somewhere with a better hand. You'd be amazed how many people do this crap with just a flush draw in lower limits.
