Paypal? Avoid fees!

This might sound as a stupid question..

But, can someone please expalin what PayPal is?

I usually cash in with my VISA and when I recieve checks the bank takes out a charge on 10-50$!!!


So, Is there anyway I can avoid this and how?

I've had them wire money to my checking account,

and don't recall any fees...

Maybe you live outside the U.S.?

With a Paypal account, you can transfer money between your checking account and internet merchants (including many gambling sites) with no fees.

There are some fees if you live outside the US, and only in some countries you can get the money to your local bank account, and the exchenge rates are poor.

Do not use them they are the woest payment service on the net.
