View Full Version : I wish SnG's were counted as rake hands to clear a Bonus

Like for every $1 fee, you get credit for a raked hand.

so 10+1 = 1 raked hand
50+5 = 5 raked hands
200+15 = 15 raked hands

has anyone tried to suggest this to Party? If so, what was their response?

so you want to play 1400 10+1's to get a $200 bonus?

Apparently so, maybe people just don't want to play ring games to clear bonuses.

I think a more reasonable level would be something like 5 raked hands per $ of tourney fee, similar to what Stars and Poker Room do. I don't know if anyone has asked them, but I suspect their response would be something along the lines of "play 500 raked hands, and we'll sent you a Party Poker hat!"

They make much less money out of tournaments. The bonuses are there to get people to play ring games.

You should still get something for the sng's though. I agree, it should be quicker to clear the bonus by playing ring games, a few points per raked dollar in a sng would be nice.

50+5-> 1400/5 = 280 SnGs in 7 days. quad table = 70. each sng = ~1hr long. so 70hrs to clear.

25NL quad table @30 raked hands per table-> 1400/4 = 350/30 = 12hrs

yeah, so 1 raked hand per $1 SnG fee won;t work /images/graemlins/blush.gif

But 1 raked hand per $1 SNG fee would still be better than nothing. I think if they gave 3 raked hands per $1 SNG fee that would be ideal (I wouldn't expect more than that).

Even though you could still clear the bonus faster doing the 25NL quad table thing, atleast you could mix it up a bit this way.
