While I'm against the death penalty I have to admit that the headline is pretty damn misleading since he actually wasn't declared to be not guilty they just said that his counsel messed up royally in the first trial.

This is old news. There have even been enitre states that had more innocent people on death row than people actually executed. Oprah did has done numerous shows on this.

Since the death penalty was reinstated in Illinois in 1977, 12 men have been executed. During that same period, 13 innocent men were freed from death row.

lol, I have a sister. And believe it or not, Oprah's show/website is one of the best concise sources of information on this topic. But no, I don't normally watch Oprah. It's easily been several years since I've seen one of her shows.
