If it's been done before, apologies.
Does your wife/girl/boy/partner play poker? If so, are they any good?

My girl plays poker. I happily subsidize her play.

I voted no but it's not technically correct. I called her the other day and she was at a party playing texas hold'em (no money though). I'm not really sure what to think since I had tried to convince her to play to no avail a few times in the past.

my gf rips up the play money games on party.
Mine does, she's even posted here a few times. I didn't vote in the how good is she question. She's not as good as I am yet, but she's certainly no fish.
My girlfriend doesn't play at all and I kinda like it that way

Same boat for my wife. Definitely no fish, but I can't say she's better than me. /images/graemlins/grin.gif She's learning, though, and building her bankroll. I'm a lucky man. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

There's a couple of reasons against that. If she weren't a serious player and just wanted to try it out to see what I do, it'd probably be OK. But she's serious about the game and about building her own bankroll. So, how would it work, a loan, staking, a gift? It just opens a mess neither of us really wants to get into. In a few months, it won't matter.

My girlfriend enjoys the 'fun money' games, but she has no desire to gamble real money on poker or any other game.

My gf is good, she has, on a limited basis beaten the party 15 game, but she still is not intreseted in poker excet as a very casual, fun game, and try as i might i can't get her to take ti more seriously than that.

Mine plays near-competently when she's concentrating but tends to get caught up in the social aspect of the game and lose a lot. She's also way too passive.
It's better to have a cute female friend to take to the casino that's not your girlfriend. I'll let others elaborate.
