Does anyone suspect Truepoker of using bot players

Nah, why would they ...if bots where playing like that they would lost a fortune!

poor baby. lost with aces. must be rigged.


truepoker has, by far, the softest games i have ever played in. live or online. if you can't beat them you need serious work on your game.

How would they lose a fortune by winning pots?

I agree True has soft games, that doesen't mean these 2 hand are not strange,


The first one BB calls my raise with 62o gets his dream flop and never bets it?


The second hand was played as if the player knew the river would give him trips.


All I am asking is if anyone eles has experienced anything like this. I am new to the site and want to make sure this site is safe.

I think that that silver looking guy is a bot. He gives that monotone nice hand response - although it amazes me how many blond ladies in blue shirts sit at the table.

bigslick was in the big blind and he sees a pot of $16 to call for only $3, guessing that the two behind him will make the pot $22 for $3 - he's getting over 7 to 1 for his money - a LOT of players would call this in a passive game


he flops two low pairs and decides to call it down, passively, seeing no scare cards on the board - fair enough if he's used to seeing other players play J7 76 and 53 in this game!!


what would concern me more here is not being shown what terribletwos had - i would write to the site and ask them to show all completed hands in their hand histories


maybe he had AJ? or 8h7h? or 3h2h? it's information like this you need rather than worrying whether the deal is fixed or if there are bots playing


there will "never" be any proof of the latter matters - if you think you lose at a site because of their fixed deal then move to another site, or give up internet poker altogether


i have VERY serious doubts about the deal at a particular site, but i still win there, so i continue to play there, warily - i don't think particular players are favoured - i think the hands are cranked up a notch or two to make them more interesting for low limit and novice players to see - then they are distributed randomly to the players at the table - the "skill" is to "see them coming", either to you or to your opponent, and take the appropriate action

When I first played at Trupoker I thought they employed props because when I logged onto the site - EVERY time there was a 9 handed 10 -20 hold em game going. Just perfect for me to jump into without having to wait.

They do not employ props I'm told which made me think after seeing the rather mechanical and unimaginative nature of some of the players on the site that bots could be a possibility. Not very skillful bots though IMO. Break even at best bots prolly.

However this stuff is thin at best but it could be worth asking the sites owner who posts here from time to time.

Which site do you suspect is juicing the hands?

no doubt it's only paranoid suspicion on my part, so it would be unfair of me to say


and expensive when they sue me for libel


i asked them for certain statistics, which they supplied without a blink, and which looked fine


they just didn't agree with my own records and experiences


but then mine are short term, theirs are long


as i said, i don't think we'll ever know for sure - anything can be doctored if someone wants to doctor it

They won't dare sue you in US courts. Their game is illegal. They probably would just ban you. They may ban you anyway if they even suspect that you are talking about them.

if they do, then i'll let you know, for sure! lol!
