Yes, I had him on a pocket pair, but I figured going with this line I could save my last $30 at least if he has a set, and if he just has a pocket pair I can milk him.

Ug on that turn play. Just bet out $20 or so. That min check/raise more easily defines your hand and gets less money in the pot. In general, out of position is not when you want to be trapping with just one pair. Especially not against a bettor and a raiser. You aren't even closing the action.

Check raise bigger on the turn and just push on the river or throw out a blocking bet.
