I recently deposited $100 dollars at Carribean Sun with the intent of doing the $40 for 250 raked hands bonus. This was my first ever deposit at Carribean Sun. I have been having some computer trouble, and decided to withdraw those funds to use somewhere else. When I went to the withdrawl screen, I was astonished to see my account had $200! My balance is $200, but my withdrawl limit is only $100, which I am assuming is because I haven't met certain requirements. Has anyone else heard of such a bonus? Is it some sort of initial deposit bonus that I haven't heard of? Or is there a mistake on my behalf or Carribean's? If it's legit, what are the requirements to clear it?

Did you deposit in December? Interpoker (Caribbean is part of their network) had a special promotion whereby they matched 100% up to $100 of every player's first deposit in December, with 500 raked hands to clear.

you were probably given a 100% match bonus to either Sands of the Carribean or Omni Casino, both are which are part of the same "PEAK" network of sites. should you choose to try your luck at the casino with the free $100, you will need to wager an aggregate amount of 40x the bonus ($4000) in order to withdraw anything left over. you can't use the bonus dollars to play poker with, however.

crownjules response was not correct - while CS and IP share the same poker network, the casino bonuses offered are not related. the PEAK properties have their own system for that.

I posted this same question yesterday and was told that this bonus was most likely for their casino only. I deposited $200 and received a $150 bonus. This was my first deposit, and it was made in January. I have not yet tried the casino out...

Maybe part of my response was incorrect, but not all of it. The $100 bonus is not solely for the casino. After playing 500 raked hands, I was cleared $50 of the bonus.

Doubtful. If you are playing at Carribean Sun you can't clear any part of the casino bonus in the poker room. It is a different story at Interpoker, but so far not at Carribean Sun.

Oh ok, I guess that would make sense. So basically, I can't touch this unless I go play in the casino part of the site?

I just called them and was told that I had to wager $3750 (actually, I think it is in pounds, not dollars) in the casino to clear the $150 bonus. Now if I can just get the software installed (it keeps hanging...ugh...)

I recall an earlier thread that talked about NOT being able to clear a casino bonus at the blackjack tables. Anyone know if this is the case for Sands of the Caribbean? Are the casino bonuses even worth doing or should I stick to the poker ones (I still have quite a few to clear). Sorry for hijacking your thread scotty34 /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

blackjack is whore-friendly at all the major crpytos (inter, sands, omni, vip).
