Do any of you smoke inside your apartment?

It would be nice to occasionally smoke a cigar inside, but I'm worried that I'd quickly regret it. My apartment has concrete floors and 14' ceilings, but I know from other experimentations that it can still fill with smoke pretty quickly.

Would my apartment forever reek of stale smoke? Am I sure to lose my security deposit if my lease forbids smoking?

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you think this is a bad thing, you probably shouldnt do it more than occasionally without some sort of air filtering device...

I have a large HEPA filter for exactly this problem. I've got carpets so it's a bigger issue, but the smell is usually gone by the next day.

We occasionally smoke cigars while playing poker. Air filters/ozone/and ion generators are great. We can't even tell the next day.

I have no advice on the matter, as I detest smoking of any kind. But your avatar is seriously cracking me up. Bruiser never should have posted that disturbing photo.

Any recommendations for a good one with mabye some average prices, if you know? Just looking for a ballpark area I guess, I dont know really at all what these things run for. I smoke cigars all the time in my apartment, just chilling with friends or playing some poker online. I used to smoke cigarettes all the time in my apartment, but I recently quit, but my roommate still does.

In my apartment last year, which had 8ish foot ceilings, concrete floors, and brick walls you couldn't smell a thing the next morning, so long as the cigar butts weren't still in the ashtray. In my house this year, which is wood floors and standart drywall, I can still never smell it the next day. The only place the smoke actually lingers is in my bedroom.

I think you should be fine in your apartment.

I cant imagine why your security deposit would be at risk.
