.50/1 NLHE cash home game. I'm in the BB with QQ. Everyone involved in the hand has between $40 to $70 in front. Virtually everyone at the table is tight-aggressive or weak-tight (great game selection, I know). UTG folds, 2 MPs call, couple of folds, SB completes, I check.

Flop: J3Q rainbow

I check, MP1 bets $5, MP2 folds, SB raises to $10. I figure one of these guys has a hand they love, so I raise it to $20. MP1 folds, SB ponders and finally calls $10.

Turn: A

SB checks, I push for $32 more. SB goes into the tank and then folds J3 face up!

I know, I know. I've never checked a big pair like this against limpers. These guys were *SO* weak-tight, though, that absolutely none of them would have called a pot-sized raise from yours truly. They were so predictable that it would be obvious if an A or K helped any of them on the flop, so I decided to play it this way.

Flame away -- I probably need it.

I'd smoothcall the flop bet w top set on a rainbow flop. The A is a scare card if they're holding KT, but I'd try to slowplay it a little bit more.
