You are by far the shortstack on the table. The blinds are creeping up. Mini-raise by the chip leader who could be doing this with a variety of hands. If the villain is playing tightly, I guess fold. But if he's playing the way a big stack should he could be making this mini-raise with a variety of hands. So unless I had a good read that he's tight, I'd push.

I suppose it depends on your read of MP.

Knowing nothing about his play, I would agree with your push based on the following:

1. Pot Odds-There is probably a better chance that he has two over cards than a bigger pair. If he has a bigger pair you are about a 4 to 1 dog and in big trouble. It is more likey he has two overcards. If he has two overcards, you are ahead in a coinflip. You are getting all of your money in at about 2.1 to 1 pot odds.

2. Five people left and you are the short stack, you are going to have to make a move soon.

3. You barely have 10 X BB. With only five people in the game, the blinds are going to coming around real fast.

PUSH PUSH PUSH! Big stack's min-raising and you have a hand. These 50% to 60% edges won't come up too often as you're getting blinded to death.

I think it is fairly close and could depend on your read, but generally fold. Most likely he has overcards and you are leading a bit. If he has PP, you may be ahead or behind, probably a little more likely behind. You do have fold equity. BUT, you still have 3 people to act after you who will be more likely to call because you are the short stack. You don't want to have 4 overcards playing against you.

Would this be a situation to use a stop-n-go?

No, because there are still 3 people to act after you. You don't want to risk having them in the pot as well.

Also, I would be acting after the preflop raiser on the flop, which means that I can't use the stop-and-go. I could go all-in on the flop if he checks, but that's not a stop-and-go.
