you'll need a lot of ahnds to get a good sample, but assuming you do, I'd say <17 is low, >33 is high, and 25 is about "average"

Good point. So as a player view stat, this is pretty worthless?

this is a VERY important stat, but doesnt converge too quickly. to get an idea of the numbers involved, look at you DB hand numbers and then check your steal stats on the more details page.

another relevant detail nobody mentioned is the blind structure. Not that many pay attention to this so you maybe cannot base reads/hand ranges on it, but you should - My steal percentage in the party 15 is roughly 40%ish, which is high. but i bet it would be low 30s in the 3/6.

risk 6 to win 4? or 30 to win 25? oversimplistic, surely..but certainly part of the whole equation.

Not sure if my reasoning is correct, but wouldn't this difference be to some extent offset by the range of hands SB will call a steal with? Since 3/6 has a 1/3 blind structure and 15/30 has a 2/3 blind structure, in general SB will not call w/as many hands at 3/6 than at 15/30, so then at 3/6 you'd be risking 6 to have a higher % chance of winning 4, while at 15/30 you'd be risking 30 to have a lower chance of winning 25.

Yes, ASSUMING SB is a good player, his range will change as well. I don't think it zeros out though, given positional advantage for the rest of the hand.
