The games i am looking at in college are:

UConn -4 at. West Virginia (taking uconn)
Kentucky -7 vs. Tennessee (prolly taking Kentucky on the money line -280)

and the pro games:

Taking Boston -4 over charlotte
and chicago on the money line vs. Denver

any thoughts?

I like both of the pro picks. Boston hasnt won on the road in like 6 games, but this should be a good spot for them to finally do it. Struggling Denver comes in to face the hot hot bulls, and I also things the bulls moneyline is good.
Nice picks, now lets hope they win.

What on earth is your reasoning for taking that Kentucky ML?

little bit gunshy because i took on the 4.5 points on syracuse last night and they won by 2...im pretty sure kentucky will win the game...but the 7 points scares me a little on the road....at any rate...

You need to evaluate it based on the line you are getting though. not just because you 'think' they will win.

-280 on that game, on the road, is quite a lot.

i understand...i didnt start betting yesterday, and they are up 16 midway through the 2nd half so im looking pretty good thus far.

But you still ended up losing money on the bet, in a way, because you didn't take the spread. If you think the team will cover, then take them against the spread. If you don't, then bet the underdog. If you think they might win, but maybe not, or maybe they will but not cover... then it sounds like you shouldn't be making any play at all.
