Just wondering if there is a site or if someone knows the number of hands per hour the average 10 handed, limit holdem internet site is dealt. I currently play at both UB and Paradise and find Paradise's # of Hands/Hr to be somewhat slow. I have been thinking of moving out to either Party or Stars and away from Paradise. Any info on hands per/hr on either Party or Stars will be helpful.

Thanks.

I made this chart last november so it could be a little outdated:

I used a control group of $1/2 fixed limit 10-man tables, and then just went to each site and wrote down the data, listing the range of HPH and the average.

name #tables range average
full tilt 4 68-71 70.00**
ultimatebet 6 56-76 66.67
pokerstars 7 60-73 66.14
pokerroom 6 53-77 64.67
interpoker 7 50-63 56.00
pacificpoker 9 39-55 45.44

**(full tilt only uses 9 man tables. if they had 10 man tables, then the HPH would be 10% less or 63.00)

I've since played at a few more places so maybe I'll re-calculate everything again sometime. but if I was to generalize I'd say that the following are...

"fast" sites
Party + Skins
Stars
UB
Bodog

"in between"
Pokerroom
Full Tilt

"slow" sites
all Cryptos
Absolute
Pacific
Paradise
Primas

some of it is due to software, other times it's the reaction time of the players themselves.

I average 63 hands/hour at Party 3/6. Hands per hour has gone up for each limit actually. (Somewhat less hands on the BBJ tables, but it's to expected when you have 7 to the flop instead of 4 most of the time.)
