I went to the first class of the quarter in my macroeconomics class, which was on Jan 4th. I haven't been since and my first midterm is tomorrow morning at 8. I was studying tonight and I realized that I have the wrong textbook for the class.

Ouch, that's tough. You can always throw yourself down a flight of stairs and get an extension for medical reasons.
3 weeks into the semester seeems a little early for mid-terms. Do you have several mid-terms for this class? Short semesters? Or is it just an economics thing? I'm a classics major so I've been spared all of that.

Quarter system with two midterms and a final equals test every three weeks.

It's a good thing macroeconomics is just about the easiest class any business major takes. Stop whining.

You can't simplify it, you can only cut out useless garbage. I took macro and the whole semester should of lasted about an hour.

I'm doing a version of those, except it's the IS and LM curves. Unfortunately it doesn't explain anywhere in the lecture slides what IS and LM stand for. Anyone?

Ok, how is it that you can master high stakes poker, but you can't figure out how to use google?

Really it's two very erroneous assumptions.
