I'm interested in knowing if anyone has a strategy for getting good at tournament play. I have just finished reading Harrington on Holdem which was a brilliant read. Does anyone think playing single tables and then moving to multi-table is the way to go. Are there tournaments that play easier than others? Is there a way to structure your growth similar to moving up in limit games.
Thanks

I would recommend playing a good mix of the following:
1 Table SnGs
Heads up SnGs
MTTs
I would also mix in some
5-6 man SnGs
2-3 Tables SnGs
NL Ring games
If making money is most important to you than play the SnGs more heavily. If becoming a great MTT is more important than play a good mix of all the above.
