AA Never wins..... (No content)

I'm sure I've whined about a run where I lost with aces before, so I figured I ought to trumpet this streak, too. And this forum was the one I was reading when I realized I ought to, so this is where I posted it.

I played live all last month and I don't have stats for it, but when I started playing online again, I won with AA the first 18 times I had it.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I've never had a streak with AA like this at limit before, and I thought it was pretty:

You just nipped me. My best is currently 17 in a row, according to pokertracker. Since my ace stats aren't particularly out of whack (80% win rate, 3BB / hand), I'm guessing this kind of streak isn't as rare as you might think.

In fact, at an 80% win rate, the odds you'll win your next 18 aces is about 2%. Low, but not low enough to stop the fish from drawing.

Yeah, that did cross my mind. Needless to say, this isn't a statistic that I'm constantly monitoring.../images/graemlins/smile.gif I display my stats by month as the default, so this is the first month that's started like this--another streak like this could have happened easily without me noticing if it was in the middle of a month.

I'm pretty sure that 15/30 is on the sticky for SS now...

Even if it's not, 15/30 posts really belong here. The replies will be better, for starters. Additionally, it will improve the quality of MH, since PP 15 threads that keep getting bumped by idiots with 17 posts when the quality posters ignore them often threaten to drown out the useful threads there.

The decks I use don't have two black or two red aces. One of each, plus blue and green.

That was against sthief09 who defended blind from the BB. Given his skill at sucking out on me, I deserved that pot. It was karma, not the overwhelming edge I had preflop.
