Easy fold for you too? No read really on this guy, nothing that stood out...

It is on Party 10+1.

How about the raise, good amount with A6?

Folding shouldn't be an issue. This is a preflop push.

You don't have that many chips. If you had 3500 or more, I don't mind a raise to 1000, to try and steal. If called, you can make your best guess as to whether or not you're ahead on the flop, and you can let it go if reraised preflop. But at just under 3000, you're too short to make this play. You must push, hoping that something like A8s will drop and wait for a better hand.

i know the rule, but does it apply in situations like this? i had been using it and winding up busting a lot of times and letting a shorter stack make the next money spot.
