Villain is a 15 VPIP and 8 PFR so I assume that he is fairly competent. This is a different line for me and I was curious about the entire line postflop.

Checkraise is much more effective than betting out. Betting out makes it look like you have KhQh.

I agree completely. I think he will get looked up by AK/AQ here a lot.

im a very aggressive player
seeing that it was going to be heads up i would have 3bet it preflop 2 take control of the hand.if mp 4bets i call then check raise the flop.unless mp has nerves of steal i may see a tell in his body language or get a read on him.this is all done 4 reasons of table image.if i have already established my image as a player to be feared then i would fold on the flop bcause of the bad pot odds.i hate drawing 2 a flush heads up except 2 establish my image at the table as a player not to be messed with.

good luck

Ummmm. Is this a joke? If it is, my favorite part is how you can see a tell in an opponent's body language when playing on line. If it isn't you have an awful lot "2" learn.

10-20% of your game is looking for tells? what does that even mean?

if he makes 1bb at 30/60 live/hr then between $6-$12 per hour of his expectation comes from tells.

I'm pretty sure limitholdemshark is joking.

I don't think it looks like KhQh. I think most people would expect a hand with that many outs (two overcards, a flush draw and an open-ender on the turn) to have shown some aggression before the river. But you might be right that we will get called on the river looking like we are on some sort of (weaker) busted draw.

Well,

As many posters have stated before, you all were right. I got looked up by AKo. I've never really tried this line before. My typical line would be to c/r the flop or just bet the flop. I thought this might be a line I'd take with a Jack, so I gave it a shot. I'll have to stop that.

Checking the turn is right here.

If he checks behind, you just got a free card, which is good. If he bets, you check-raise. No matter what he does on the turn you are pretty happy.
