Been catching the worst of it lately. Would like a little help with these hands as they seem typical of my results.

Party 20 + 2
Level 6 3 handed
Hero(1595)
SB(2827)
BB(3593)
Hero is button with A /images/graemlins/club.gif6 /images/graemlins/club.gif
I push.
SB folds BB calls w K /images/graemlins/diamond.gifK /images/graemlins/spade.gif
Not complaining about running into Kings the question is is this a good push on my part?

second hand:
Party $20+2 Level:4 Blinds(50/100) - Sunday, December 05, )
Seat 1 is the button
Total number of players : 7
Seat 1: Button( $285 )
Seat 3: SB ( $1265 )
Seat 4: BB ( $2285 )
Seat 6: UTG ( $2315 )
Seat 7: UTG+1 ( $750 )
Seat 9: Hero ( $560 )
Seat 10: CO ( $540 )
Hero gets A /images/graemlins/spade.gif7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
folded to me and I push button calls blinds fold
Flop J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/club.gift /images/graemlins/heart.gif

I push the first hand 100% of the time and the second hand 75% of the time.

The first situation is an automatic push. You are three handed, with the BB coming next hand to take most of your stack, and you have a decent suited ace. If you do anything but push here you are making a huge mistake.

The second situation is a little more iffy. Personally I wouldn't push here, but I'm sure a case can be made for it. The problem is, the table is still quite full and you have plenty of time to wait for a better hand. Also, it is the chipleaders big blind and he can call 460 more and still have 1800 and not be hurting. There are also 4 players behind you to wake up with a hand, and it isn't that unlikely that they can beat A7s. I think it is better to have AT+ or a pair to push here.
