The topic says it all. I'll get it started -- Married . . . With Children. Yeah, Christina Applegate in her teeenage slut mode was pretty much the only redeeming part of this show.

When I was at high school, a local cable channel used to show the Simpsons at around 6. Only problem was, I got home at 4.30. In between I watched a lot of other crap they used to put on, including Full House, Growing Pains, Hanging with Mr Cooper ("Cooper Cooper!") and Step By Step.

Oh the shame. I drew the line at The Nanny and that one with Urkle, though.

Oh, PLEASE. It's obvious to anyone paying attention that Mr. Brady is a Marxist-Leninist, and not a true Communist. He obviously advocated the proletariat's ostensible empowerment (read: ability to function as a tool of the State) through the active and conscious movement of the Party to enact such ostensible empowerment.

See, for example, the Trading Stamp episode.

Obviously, it was Mike freakin Brady (the State) who wanted that damned TV set.

Duh.

MWC was great before they got rid of Steve. He made the show.

Here's a complete list of every non-cartoon TV series that I have gone out of my way to watch:

Who's the Boss
Married with Children
Charles in Charge
The Pretender
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: The Original Series
The Twilight Zone
Monk
The Prisoner (really went out of my way since I had to acquire it on VHS)
Knight Rider
MacGyver
Something about a restaurant and a chick with the dude from Van Wilder.
...

I can't think of any more. And I'm not embarassed by any of them. I don't see how anyone would be ashamed of watching anything. Oh - I did catch the series finale of Friends while I was at a buddy's house. "Oh, this is Friends? A lot of people like this show. Oh, it's the last episode ever? I may as well watch it."

I loved that show. I don't think it was bad, though it did peak early and I think it was probably for the best that it only lasted a year.

The worst show I routinely watch is probably MXC, one of the few over the top silly shows that actually works for me. It has the added bonus of being one of those shows where it does not matter how much of the show you see or pay attention to. If you flip it on five minutes before it ends, that's fine, or if you have to leave ten minutes into it, that's fine too (or if you only get to look up from your game every once in a while, it's great.)

Gilmore Girls

I don't see how you can call that show bad in any way. The girls are pretty hot, and they're also funny as hell. That show's writing is just amazing.

Charmed is nowhere near as good as the Gilmore Girls, but I think it's decent, as in it doesn't plain suck, even though it's a chick show.

Joe Millionaire was truly awful. I watched the "Real Gilligan's Island," and I am so ashamed of that too. Star Trek: DS9 wasn't great, but I don't think it was awful. Probably some lame cartoon show I watched when I was younger. Turn on any network Saturday morning and try to get through all of that. There's so much muck there.

Baywatch... Pam in her prime, Erika, Gena Lee, Yasmine, all the way up to the Hawaiian, Kekoa(?). Good times for sure.

Knight Rider... when you're a kid, a talking car is just too badass. (Notice the Hasselhoff effect)

Dawson's Creek... I always wondered when Dawson would finally bang Joey.

Small Wonder... That show is like crack, you know you should stay away from it but something just keeps you coming back again and again.

That's all I can think of for now.
