definitely on the aggressive side, but I like it. another option is to call the turn and raise a non-heart or 9 river.

question on the river value bet

i'm curious what hands you think he'll pay you off with/

if its worth it vs. a check raise from KQ or AQ.

Yeah i don't see any reason to slow down here, i think hero is ahead a very large percetnage of the time. Also, i don't think you can check the river in fear that someone has taken KQ this far, i play this hand exactly the same way you do.

You really think the BB has KQ or AQ here?

When he leads out on the turn, I'm really afraid he has a 5 here, especially since he was in the BB. Do you fold to a 3-bet? This particular guy had T6/images/graemlins/spade.gif but more often than not I think I'll be 3-bet and shown a hand that beats me...

How can your possible put the BB on KQ or AQ...

Only way he has these hands is if he has a Heart draw

Easy turn raise. The 5 is a very good card for you.

yes
on the turn u should just call
ur raise accomplishes nothing except 2 thin out ur wallet and 2 stroke ur ego.if he bets the river call if he checks the river check along.

at party 15/30 this is 100% my absolute standard line...what do you put him on to bet out the turn? it looks like a good 9. of the times i've seen this and done this play with JJ-AA i've taken down the pot almost 90% of the time...and of the 10% i haven't, some % was a card that hit the river that gave him a better hand.

i play it the exact same.
