I'll comment on all the ones I've seen, from best to worst:

Eyes Wide Shut -- an absolute classic (although you may need a Kubrick decoder ring to understand all of it)

Amelie -- very good.

Cold Mountain -- also very good.

Y Tu Mama Tambien -- nice light entertainment.

Seabiscuit -- most overrated movie in the history of electricity.

Fog of War and Y Tu Mama Tambien are good. Amelie is very good despite being a chick flick. The others ones that I've seen, not so much.

Edit: Cold Mountain was alright.

Cold Mountain is okay, a standard hollywood film, just what you'd expect. Y Tu Mama Tambien is excellent, a deep movie, humorous if I remember correctly, good acting, good everything, plus there is a sex scene in there that I think you would like. Seabiscuit is unexpectedly good, well done fast paced movie good acting. Read the book too, I had no interest in horses or horse racing at all but I couldn't put the book down.

The Core and You Got Served are the worst amongst those that I've seen. Both are pretty laughable, so maybe worth seeing for that value.

I liked Mean Girls.
So I Tivoed this one hoping for more bad teen comedy and barely legal actresses playing very illegal characters.
This movie sucked, Lindsey Lohan is hot, but the movie was unbearable.

Y tu mama tambien: I liked it, there is something interesting about the earnestness of this film. THough I'd probably MST3K it if it were in english.

Spider: very very bad for a good movie, jesus this was boring and the payoff wasn't worth the wait.

I wanted to see Rabbit-Proof Fence in the theater, but missed it. Then I recorded it on Tivo in Nov 2003. I meant to watch it many times, but never got around to it. About a month ago, after being on the Tivo for over a year, Tivo ran out of space and deleted it. I thought that was it for the Rabbit-Proof Fence saga. Then I read your post and decided to try again.

The Core - I put this on this while doing some work. Holy cow, this movie definitely merits inclusion in the Horrible Movies thread. It made Deep Impact and Armageddon look like cinematic masterpieces. Seriously, every single thing about this movie was horrible. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. If I would have finished what I was doing while the movie was still going, I would have deleted it immediately, even if there were just 5 minutes left. It was that bad.

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen - I watched about 5 minutes of this before deleting it. It looked really, really horrible. BTW, to whoever mentioned it, I liked Mean Girls as well.

You Got Served - I fast forwarded to all the dance scenes and scenes that looked like they might involve someone saying "You Got Served!" That made it a pretty sweet 20 min movie.
