6-handed ring game $0.5BB. I'm BB Th 9s. Villain is button with $33-ish. He is decent but not really good. I have him covered.

UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, button limps, I check. 4 to the flop.

Flop ($2:25): 9c 9h Qc

I check, UTG and UTG+1 checks, button bets $1, I raise to $4, folded to button who calls.

Turn ($10): 3s

I bet $9, button pushes for another $19, I fold.

I just didn't see any fear in this guy. Thoughts?

while I think the fold is good, I would more likely bet the flop,

check call the turn.

value bet the river.

Of course leading on the flop crossed my mind, the table was so aggressive I felt I would be given the opportunity to check-raise 80-90% of the time. Should I still lead with this knowledge?

Villian wasn´t really deep enough to take your suggested line on turn and river, since that would get him all in anyways, and I probably would have lost. This might be slightly "semi-results-oriented" but I felt this line got me a good picture of where I was at.

I am sure you will get a chance to check raise with that many people on the flop but do you want to check raise? I think you only want to check raise if the person calls your check raise right?

the other thing is, on the flop, you don't know the villain is the one that you will end up headsup with.

But yes, your line does definitely give you a better idea of where you are.

Its one of those give info to get info deals.
