Howdy,

This is my first time posting to the 2+2 forums. I've been playing NL home games for about a year and on PP for about 3 months now. I took a short break last month to reassess my game after a bad run and now I'm bak at it again. I'd like some opinions on this particular hand. I'm hoping this converts properly... it's my first attempt.

I think I would raise preflop a bit more and raise the flop.

Given the way hand played out, I think river laydown is good.

Later bets in a hand are more likely to be "truthful" than earlier ones. I would lay this down; I think the villain has at least two pair.

I also would have raised the flop (and folded to a reraise), which probably would have resulted in not facing this river decision.

If you are going to make a raise pre-flop make it more.

Raise the flop, you can't know where you are unless you do.
