This is one of those situations where Im not really sure what the best course of action is since it is such an easy board to make bluffs at with me being out of position.

I'm not sure betting out this flop like you did is +EV.
If you bet 20, you'll have to take it down 2 out of 5 times to make it +EV (which I don't think you will in a 3-way pot on this board).
However, if you bet 10, I still feel that you'll get played back at with the same frequency, therefore you only need to take it down 2 out of 8 times. Therefore, I feel that if you bet out, make it 10.

what about a check raise?

Im interested in your thoughts on this one. Do you feel I hold the best hand? The reason I lead out was because I felt it was basically lead out and try to take it down or give up. Check raising, even a min checkraise would essentially commit me to the pot wouldnt you think? Do you feel my hand is good?

thats what makes this so hard, the stacks are short enough where check raise is not that viable and if you lead out, you are almost always going to invite a raise. and betting preflop and betting the flop almost tells you nothing. Check raise will tell you more but it commits you.

check call, lead a non 4 flush turn puts as much money in as a check raise.

I am still not sure what to do.

I think its one of those things where you make a read based decision based on what you think villain's bluff percentage is.
