You can't play Paradise Poker if you own a Mac because of compatibility problems. Anyone know where you CAN play internet poker on a Mac?

I was under the impression that the Paradise client works OK with Virtual PC, although I haven't tried it myself.

www.pokerroom.com (http://www.pokerroom.com) uses a pure Java client. I only play under Linux but is should also run on a Mac.

I play on Paradise using a 5 year old mac Clone. I use Virtual PC. It works fine, though it is a little sluggish if you leave animation turned on in the stud games.

I´m using System 9, 128 MB RAM, and a G3 upgrade card at 400 MHz.

Any of the newer Macs should work even faster than mine.

1. Apparently VPC works. I would strongly suggest that you do not purchase the XP version of VPC unless you have the fastest Mac known to humankind. I did on my G3 600 mhz with 384 mb ram and it took 15 minutes to boot up. I returned it, and assumed that it was a VPC issue and not an OS issue.

2. Pokerroom.com works fine on a mac, and has lots of low limit action and an occasional 10-20.
