Im trying to find a site with torrents on WSOP 2004 but most of them are dead. Anyone know?
Can you also tell me how many episodes the main event is?

I've been downloading an entire season for about a week now. Only have about 33% complete. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Oh wow. I think you have no idea what these are, do you?

go to http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/ and get the BT client. Download that... there's no need to open it, just leave it turned off.

Go to that www.torrentspy.com (http://www.torrentspy.com) site, search for whatever it is you want, and download the torrent. Once you get the .torrent open, it'll open ABC for you. Save the file where you'd like it and click okay, it should start downloading for you.

To get faster speeds, google "port forwarding bit torrent" and it'll show you step by step how to configure your router/xp firewall, etc.

Another question for anyone that knows anything about this stuff, once I finish the DL, what now? I cant seem to get the show working in any of my media players, is their a special one I need or do I need to do something after the DL is complete?

Thanks

Not enough information. What's the file extention? It's possible that the files are RAR archives in which case you need to unrar them first. It totally depends on how the person seeding the file created the torrent.

You should at minimum have the Divx codec installed as most video you will find will be encoded in that (divx.com, just install the codec).

Codec Pack (http://www.codecpack.com/bin/Codecs6023_allin1.zip)

Download and install. Contains pretty much every codec you could ever want or need. Best codec pack I have found so far (and I've tried a bunch).

If the WSOP episodes are AVI files, all you should need to do is double click on them.

They'll open in your default media player, and should play now, because you have the codecs installed.
