He's sitting on my left, and has followed me into every pot I enter since then. So yes, I think it is helpful for them to think you're a fish.

Granted, this is the zoo, so I shouldn't even make this comment (don't discuss strategy here!), but flush on the board or not, you had 10 outs to improve on the river. Seems like a no-brainer to go to the river to me.

Of course, gotta love the other guy for chastising you. LOL.

I guess it is ok for him to "chase" his 9-outter for the flush, but it is a mortal sin for you to "chase" your 10-outter for the boat/quads!

Gotta love guys that know just enough to be dangerous...to their own bankrolls!

Pfft. He is clearly right. You should NEVER chase hands, ever. You should only play AA-JJ. Every other hand, you're just chasing you damn fish!

I used the "pokar is easy" line some days ago and was abused for being a "brotha". A real nutcase, in oh so many ways. The "Shut up, I'm counting your chips..." line was also used frequently in that session.

I'm looking for outs that will actually help me. The last thing I would need is a 4th club. True, i may have many outs to improve my hand, but I only am looking for my 10 outs to FH/quads.

And I'm playing 1/2 cause I was getting raped at 2/4 (I realized this weekend its cause I was playing from 1-4am PST against all the other grinders (and I'm not that good).

I don't think you'll have much trouble beating me this month. I got a job, and I've started playing some O8 (which goes quite a bit slower than 1/2(6m). In the unlikely event that i DO beat you, I definitely won't keep that same avatar for you. It's much too hetero.
